Gudmund Aasgaard

Professional and highly motivated IT architect with over 15 years of experience in the industry, currently serving as enterprise-/solution architect within global industry leaders. With a background in Computer Science (UiB) and Business Administration (NHH), I am perfectly positioned at the intersection of business and technology.

My career began as a software developer for Norway’s largest banks and financial institutions, providing me with a deep understanding of the industry’s complexities. Since then, I have transitioned into architecting cloud solutions, with a particular focus on MS Azure. My biggest strengths lie in my ability to design technical solutions that balance my extensive experience and proven track record with innovation and practicality. I am skilled at seeing the big picture and bridging the gap between business and technology, always guided by the principles of business value.

In addition to my extensive experience, I hold a number of certifications, including Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate, TOGAF, Archimate, and multiple certifications in project management and agile processes.
